1.) Exhortations to Edify One Another • (Romans 14:19) “…let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. “ • (1 Corinthians 14:26) “…Let all things be done for edification.” • (2 Corinthians 12:19) “…we do all things, beloved, for your edification.” • (1 Thessalonians 5:11) “…comfort each other and edify one another…” • (Jude 1:20-21) “…building yourselves up on your most holy faith…”
2) Not All Things Edify: The KEY Principle for edification: (1 Corinthians 10:23-24) All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well -being.
