Purpose St. Vincent de Paul Spanish Club • PURPOSE • The purpose of the Spanish club is to provide the opportunity to our students to expand their knowledge on our Spanish Culture and bring something extra of the Spanish-speaking world into our classes. Indeed, it will bring a completely new aspect of the Hispanic culture and traditions to student’s lives through activities at school, cultural trips (dances), and celebrating Spanish Traditions.

  3. Requirement • You have to be enrolled in Spanish classes. • They are expected to attend activities of the year. • They have to be part of any fundraisers. • Students most collaborate for the development of activities. • Students most be at all meetings.

Summer 2013 • Costa Rica Trip: June 2013 • Summer Car wash fundraiser for School Materials. • We visited the city of San Jose • Botanical Garden • We travelled to Region Arenal • Visited The Arenal Volcano • Went Cayaking, • Hiking to Water Fall La Fortuna • Travelled to Monte Verde Town • Visited an Elementary School (8 luggage of schools material were given away to the school • Went Zip-Lining • Horse Back Riding • Travelled to the City Jaco • Went to Natural Park Manuel Antonio • Free time at the Beach • Travelled to the City of Sarchi • Experienced their old factory of carriages • Back to the San Jose City • Night of Dinning and Dancing

  8. Dance Eventand Mexican Restaurant • March 27th 2014 St. Louis • Time: 7:45 – 2:45 • Latin American Roots • Students will be introduce to Latin-American Dances and Culture. • Mexican Restaurant • Students will be able to order and utilize some Spanish phrase while eating at the restaurant.
