  2. Preliminaries • Pre-class (10 classwork points): suppose that you’re having a test on a novel in two weeks. You know that you have difficulty in being able to remember what you read. Name at least 2 strategies you might use to help you remember the most important parts.

  3. Objectives: • Be able to prepare your class portfolio. • Be able to take QNTs in order to optimize reading comprehension.

  5. Focus Lesson: QNTs • Reasons for QNTs: love, hate or don’t know • QNT Practice: “The Storyteller” (Elements… pp. 155-159)

  6. Homework • Read “R.M.S. Titanic” in Elements… (pp. #331-343). • Take at least 10 QNTs. • Due next class for 10 homework points.
