Aerodrome Certification Given the importance for Lima Airport Partners (LAP) to have an Airport Certification Program, LAP has stimulated the implementation of such proceduresby seeking Certification of the Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chavez. As a private Operator LAP feels that ALL Commercial Airports providing International Air Transport Service must meet Minimum Safety Standards. There should be NO compromise on Operational Safety issues.2

Aerodrome Certification “Jorge Chavez” International Airport (JCIA) Lima Airport Partners, (LAP)as the airport operator, has complied with all of the conditionsas set forth by the Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) of Peru and the SARPS of ICAO, required for the Airport Certification. 5
Aerodrome Certification JCIA Certification Process. The Airport Operation : LAP initiated with it’s operations as the airport operator of the JCIA on February 14, 2001. Work Coordination : DGAC and LAP established working groups to determine thelevels of technical details required for the Aerodrome certification manual. 6
Aerodrome Certification Peruvian Regulations: Aviation Regulations of Peru (RAP-139). Certification issued by DGAC to Lima Airport Partners : September 23, 2001 Permanent Review Committee : DGAC and LAP have agreed onaudit/verification procedures as part of the certification manual, as per the Airport Master Plan. 7
