UK National Node To engage with the UK’s research community to participate in RDA activities and adopt RDA outputs • Events (Webinars, meetings, workshops, training courses etc.) • Discussion • Coordination • Support Promotion of open calls for European participation in RDA • (plenary meetings, support programmes, ambassadors, early career programmes, etc.) Dissemination of RDA activities and outputs • encouraging participation in RDA activities and adoption of outputs, • leveraging on the knowledge of the local research system Liaison with Funding bodies • Jisc and STFC are themselves also funding bodies We do not plan to set up an RDA/UK legal entity • Node is delivered by STFC and Jisc www.rd-alliance.org - @resdatall CC BY-SA 4.0

UK “special features” • Liaison with EOSC projects: • STFC coordinates EOSCpilot and FREYA • STFC participates in EOSC-Secretariat and FAIRsFAIR • UK has many RDA members and leadership of several Groups • Relationship with RDA Council and Foundation • RDA Foundation is in UK • Participation in Council though OAB co-chairing • Admin support to Secretary General • (Hopefully) will host plenary in future • (maybe in 2.5 years) www.rd-alliance.org - @resdatall CC BY-SA 4.0
