Introduction The 2nd Annual NASA Office of Safety and Mission Assurance Software Assurance Symposium (OSMA SAS '02) was held Wednesday through Friday, September 4-6, 2002 at the Coolfont Resort and Conference Center in Berkley Springs, West Virginia. The symposium was sponsored by the NASA Office of Safety and Mission Assurance as part of its Software Assurance Research Program (SARP) managed by the NASA Software Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Facility. There were 46 survey submissions out of 107 attendees.
