3. About ME! • Valentina Stephens is an American Italian 12 year old and has been living in Hanoi, Vietnam for the past 5 years. She enjoys Football and all sports (well maybe not ALL) she likes to walk her dog Lucky who is 4 years old and loves to have her friends come over and jump on her trampoline :P • She also likes to write story's in her English class  2

8. There once was a cat in a cage Who was very old of age But then one day the cat ran away And took up a career on the stage 7

The jump The wind was swooshing threw my hair My jacket was flapping violently as the wind howled a t the world Announcing its arrival I felt at least 1000 emotions racing threw my bod Each and every one of them trying to fully occupy my mind But honestly, I didn’t know how to feel Amazed? Shocked? Petrified ? Scared? I had often heard of these stunts going terribly wrong, sometimes I would pick up the news appear and read on the front page "man killed in parachute accident" or "the jump kills" But me being the stubborn girl I am I decided to try it 8

After the many endless hours of research ended I was on my way to the mountain As I climbed I could hear the chirps of ravens hiding their identity in the under growth kakaa the distant cricket in the background crik creek The leaves rustling in the wind, swoosh All these sounds are only a fraction of the great musical of life Not many people get the privilege to hear But those lucky enough to experience it Will not be able to look at the world threw the same shoes again Humans are the only ones who have the power to control the strongest seas, the deadliest winds even the world if wanted And with immense power comes great reasonability but us humans have not always listened to our hearts and done the right things Now a days we are convinced with the idea that if you have money, power and greed than you will be happy We are convinced that money is always the solution And that has to change 9

As I arrived to the top I could see the surrounding mountains scrapping the sunset I could see the trees that before looked like giants now looked like tiny broccoli sprouts The great deadly river now seemed like a mere blue line making its way threw the crowded mountains As I clipped on the parachute I thought to my self You only live once right?, so lets uncover the world and its secrets in order to make the most of life You must be the change you wish to see in the world Then I closed my eyes Took a deep breath and jumped 10
