  2. What is Root Canal Treatment • A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.

  3. Step1: Identification and preparation of the infected teeth and Rubber dam application • First infected teeth is identified. Before the treatment all the preoperative test should be done. • This infected tooth is first numbed using the local anesthesia.

  4. Step2: Overview of the Root Canal Treatment • Root Canal Treatment is involves making an access to hole on the crown of the tooth that connect with the pulp canal. • After the cleaning procedure carryout by removing the infected tooth’s pulp tissue from the root canal.

  5. Step3: Creating the access cavity • Your dentist need to gain access to the infected pulp • Drill the surface of the tooth to make a wide whole that can extent the passage from the surface till the pulp chamber of the tooth. This access the cavity to exposes the roof of the pulp chamber.

  6. Step4: Cleaning and shaping the teeth • The next step is clean and disinfect the inside of the teeth by removing the infected pulp and cleansing the canals.

Step5: Tooth irrigation • During the entire process of root canal the dentist will regularly keep injecting the canal and the pulp chamber with irrigating solutions that disinfect the canal and the pulp chamber by killing the microbes and removing the debris produced during the widening of the canal.

  8. Step6: Sealing the Tooth • The final step in the root canal procedure is sealing the canal and pulp chamber with inert, non allergic disinfected material. • Immediately filling and placing the material into the root canal.
