The process of the Funka in Transilvania - boy s and men of the village gather wood for the fire - the hay-cross is also prepared - girls and women preparing the feast for the Funka - the population of the village is meeting in the evening at the place where the Funka is held - a young girl egnites the cross and the wood - people are praying and singing religious songs around the burning cross - girls asking in Schwab-german ,, Schiebi, Scheiba, weam soll dea Scheiba sei?“ - boys and men throwing burning hay and wood into the night

  4. The Funka usually ends with a carnival party in the village that is lasting untill the morning.
