  2. 121.133 Preparation • (a) Each certificate holder shall prepare and keep current a manual for the use and guidance of flight, ground operations, and management personnel in conducting its operations. • (b) For the purpose of this subpart, the certificate holder may prepare that part of the manual containing maintenance information and instructions, in whole or in part, in printed form or other form acceptable to the Administrator. • [Doc.   3. 121.137 Distribution and availability • (a) Each certificate holder shall furnish copies of the manual required by §121.133 (and the changes and additions thereto) or appropriate parts of the manual to— • (1) Its appropriate ground operations and maintenance personnel; • (2) Crewmembers; and • (3) Representatives of the Administrator assigned to it. • (b) Each person to whom a manual or appropriate parts of it are furnished under paragraph (a) of this section shall keep it up-to-date with the changes and additions furnished to that person and shall have the manual or appropriate parts of it accessible when performing assigned duties. • (c) For the purpose of complying with paragraph (a) of this section, a certificate holder may furnish the persons listed therein the maintenance part of the manual in printed form or other form, acceptable to the Administrator, that is retrievable in the English language. • [Doc.   4. NTSB PART 830 • Regulations related to aircraft accidents and incidents, and the reporting requirements of those accidents.

NTSB 830.5: Immediate Notification • Even when no injuries occur to occupants, an airplane accident resulting in substancial damage must be reported to the nearest NTSB field office immediately. • The following must be reported: • Inability of a crewmember to perform normal duties because of in-flight injury or illness. • In-flight fire • Flight control system malfunction or failure • An overdue airplane believe to be involved in an accident • An airplane collision in flight • Turbine (jet) failures

  6. NTSB 830.10: Preservation of Aircraft Wreckage, Mail, Cargo, and Records • Aircraft wreckage may not be disturbed prior to NTSB custody of the scene, except to: • Remove persons injured or trapped • Protect the wreckage from further damage • Protect the public from injury

NTSB 830.15: Reports & Statements to Be Filed • The operator of an aircraft shall file a report on Board Form 6120.1/2 within 10 days after an accident. • A report must be filed within 7 days if an overdue aircraft is still missing. • A report on an incident for which immediate notification is required (830.5) shall be filed only when requested by an authorized representative of the Board.

  9. 1544.3 TSA inspection authority • (a) Each aircraft operator must allow TSA, at any time or place, to make any inspections or tests, including copying records, to determine compliance of an airport operator, aircraft operator, foreign air carrier, indirect air carrier, or other airport tenants

  10. 1544.103 Form, content, and availability • Each security program must: • (1) Provide for the safety of persons and property traveling on flights provided by the aircraft operator against acts of criminal violence and air piracy, and the introduction of explosives, incendiaries, or weapons aboard an aircraft.

  11. 1544.215 Security coordinators Each aircraft operator must designate and use an Aircraft Operator Security Coordinator (AOSC).

  12. 1544.229 Fingerprint-based criminal history records checks (CHRC): Unescorted access authority, authority to perform screening functions, and authority to perform checked baggage or cargo functions This section applies to each aircraft operator operating under a full program, a private charter program, or a full all-cargo program
