Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (created in 1803) • Represents the interests of 303 971 companies spread as follows: 1) 110.398 commerce 2) 43 817 industries 3) 149 756 services • Employs 3.958 staff out of which 2.245 people working on teaching and training
Four types of actions • The CCIP is a spokesman for companies • It offers a range of customized services for companies • It provides recognized training and education • It is the main operator for conventions and trade fairs in the Ile de France region
Customized services for companies • Departments offer daily assistance to firms on the following: - practical information - starting up and transferring • expansion and performance • training and recruiting • monitoring and economic studies • international opportunities
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris • Manages 13 schools from vocational training up to « grandes écoles » as HEC and ESCP/EAP. They welcome 13,000 pupils, apprentices and students every year as well as 40,000 trainees in continuing education. • Owns « Paris-Nord Villepinte » welcoming fairs and congress with 1.575.000 visitors/year

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Versailles Val d’Oise Yvelines • Second biggest CCI in France (after Paris) • Created in 1899, in the western part of the Ile de France region • Represents the interests of 68 000 companies • 10 250 young people are taught each year and 12 000 workers are trained by the CCI
