We are going to be examining Triangular Trade and Slavery in depth with this lesson. • Class: We are going to watch the United Streaming Film “GlobeTrekker: Transatlantic Slave Trade”. As we watch, you should be taking notes in the provided graphic organizer. This film runs 51 minutes and 10 seconds long. • Homework:Work on your African Tribalism and Religions Sensory Figure. It is due on Block Day!
Day Two: Tuesday, December 17, 2013 • Class: We are going to finish watching the United Streaming Film and taking notes in the graphic organizer. • Class:Finish your African Tribalism and Religions Sensory Figure. It is due the next class period.
Days Three and Four: Block Day • Class: Ms. Barben is going to do her Triangular Trade and Slavery Overview Powerpoint Lecture and you are to add to your graphic organizer notes from the film we watched in the previous class. • Homework: You are to read and add notes to the graphic organizer from the textbook or supplemental reading assigned to you for your Jigsaw Group. You need to do this in ONE NIGHT! Need for Friday’s class!
