Membership • You don’t have to be a declared Pre-PA student! • Any interested JMU student who is in good standing with the University • Must participate in organization events and attend meetings • Pay annual dues • $15
Possible Activities • Visit JMU’s Physician Assistant facility, as well as attend other university’s open houses • Work with RMH to coordinate volunteer opportunities and fundraisers in the community • Suggestions?

Other Helpful Resources • PAEA Online • www.paeaonline.org • $35/year subscription • Gives an organized overview of everything you need to know for each PA school (prereqs, requirements, location, cost, length of program, etc.

Patient Care Opportunities • A message from the JMU health center: • “We are allowing undergraduate students to volunteer approximately 4 hours a week at the health center. There is an application and interview process with priority going to students who are CNA or EMT certified. These hours would count for patient contact hours for PA school. The application is available on the health center’s website. You can also contact Betsy Gentry at gentryep@jmu.edu and she will send you an application.”
