This short presentation is the first of a series of quick reminders. High morals and excellent conduct are what distinguishes the Believer from the rest of mankind. The lives of the Prophetsaw and his companions enchant us through the many lessons they teach us through their superior moral standards. Implementing those lessons of love, mercy, forbearance and patience are what we need most of all in our lives today. Husn-e-Akhlaq implies the most beautiful conduct… and what can be the response to such beauty except the filling of our lives with all kinds of joys and pleasures? Abu Dharrra narrated: Allah’s Messengersaw said, “Fear Allah wherever you are, and follow a bad deed with a good deed – it will wipe it out. And behave with people with good conduct.” (At-Tirmidhi)
Abu Dardara narrated: I heard Allah’s Messengersaw say, “Nothing will be placed in the balance heavier than good conduct and a person with good conduct will attain the rank of one who fasts and prays.”(At-Tirmidhi)
Abu Hurairara narrated: “Allah’s Messengersaw said, “The most complete of believers in Iman are those who are best in character.” (Abu Dawood)
The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better , then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend. Surah Fussilat 41:34
Aishara narrated: Allah’s Messengersaw said, “The most hated person near Allah is the most quarrelsome.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
Dua of the Prophetsaw: “Guide me to the best character for no one guide to best (character) except you, and turn away bad conduct from me for no one can turn it away from me except you.” (Sahih Muslim)
