Activities in 2017 Innostars Awards: with this call EIT Health looks for emerging companies and SMEs able to develop new products and services. The selected companies willreceive 2 steps of financingto accelerate the entry into the market. Catapult:thisactionisdirected to companies with less than 50 employees, with at least 1 paying customer and wishing to explore new European markets with a prototype that has already passed the testing and validation phases.
Innostars Awards 2017 In the 2017 edition of InnostarsAwards, among the 78 proposals received, 11 came from the ARCA network. The selection process made it possible to identify the 20 most promising ideas at European level. Among these, 6 proposals from the ARCA network were selected for the second phase, winning also a grant.
Catapult 2017 We promoted the call on the national territory, facilitating the participation of 9 Italian companies. 3 were selected to access the second phase, which took place on July 5, 2017 in Brussels. Ican Robotics won the 1st prize for the category Medtech, Neurab, the 3rd prize of the same category.
RIS Hub activities in 2018 • 3 groups of researchers have been supported in applying to Caixampulse call. • 2 companies supported in applying to Headstart call (1 took part in the final event) • 2 companies supported in applying to Catapult call. • 2 companies supported in applying to Innostar Awards call. • 2 companies supported in applying to SafetyBelt Go2China (1 selected to take part in the program) • 1 PhD student supported (and selected) for the StarShip program.
