Let’s Look at an Example… People in a community help each other meet a need in many ways. First, people may donate money to charities such as the United Way. Next, people may volunteer their time to help others such as building houses for Habitat for Humanity. Finally, people may loan others the things they need. For example, someone may loan a lawn mower to his neighbor. All of these are ways that people help each other meet needs.
