  2. The candidates who have applied for UGC NET Exam should be aware of the important instructions before appearing in the exam. These instructions have been provided by the official authorities. So, here , we have come up with UGC NET Instructions that need to be followed by aspirants in the exam.

  3. UGC NET Instructions for Exam Day • Reach at the examination centre 2 hours before the commencement of exam. • The registration desk will be closed 30 minutes prior to the exam. • Things that are not allowed to bring are – Calculator, Docu Pen, textual material, watch, bits of papers, mobile phone, pen drive blue tooth or any other electronic gadget. If any of the candidates brings any of these items, the candidate will be treated as unfair means.

  4. UGC NET Instructions for Exam Day • For each candidate, a seat indicating the Roll Number will be allotted. Candidates are advised to sit on their allotted seats only. The candidature of a candidate will be rejected if he/she found to have changed the seat. • Make sure that the question paper appears on your computer screen is as per the opted subject.

  5. UGC NET Instructions for Exam Day • Aspirants are not allowed to carry any baggage inside the exam hall. • No candidate will be allowed to leave their seats without the permission of the invigilator. • It is compulsory to show the UGC NET Admit Card to the invigilator. Those who do not possess the valid admit card will not be permitted to get entry in exam hall.

  6. UGC NET Instructions for Exam Day • Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting, etc in the examination hall is prohibited. • Those who are suffering from diabetes can carry the eatables like tablets of sugar, fruits like banana, apple, orange and water bottle (transparent). • The re-test will not be held for those who are unable to appear in the exam as per the scheduled date.
