  2. Simple Present • Use for something that is permanently true: Examples: • They live in Kelantan. • I don’t speak French.

  3. Simple Present • REMEMBER! • I/ You/ We/ They eat. • He/ She/ It eats. • Do I/ you/ they eat? • Does she/ he/ it eat? • I/ You/ We/ They do not (don’t) eat. • He/ She/ It does not (doesn’t) eat.

  4. Simple Present Tense • Use the simple present to talk about situations that are not connected to time such as scientific facts and physical laws. • Examples: The Earth orbits the sun. The sun rises in the East.
