  1. …WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

  2. The End… What Happens Next? Part 5 – A Glorious Day Jeremy LeVan 11 - 7 - 15

  3. Do business till I come.

  4. Luke 19:11 Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately.

  5. Luke 19:12-27 12 Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’

  6. Luke 19:12-27 continued 14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.’ 15 “And so it was that when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

  7. Luke 19:12-27 continued 16 Then came the first, saying, ‘Master, your mina has earned ten minas.’ 17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’ 18 And the second came, saying, ‘Master, your mina has earned five minas.’ 19 Likewise he said to him, ‘You also be over five cities.’

  8. Luke 19:12-27 continued 20 “Then another came, saying, ‘Master, here is your mina, which I have kept put away in a handkerchief. 21 For I feared you, because you are an austere man. You collect what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.’

  9. Luke 19:12-27 continued 22 And he said to him, ‘Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was an austere man, collecting what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow. 23 Why then did you not put my money in the bank, that at my coming I might have collected it with interest?’

  10. Luke 19:12-27 continued 24 “And he said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina from him, and give it to him who has ten minas.’ 25 (But they said to him, ‘Master, he has ten minas.’)

  11. Luke 19:12-27 continued 26 ‘For I say to you, that to everyone who has will be given; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 27 But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.’”

  13. Do business till I come. Don’t get sidetracked.

  14. Matthew 24:3-14 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

  15. Matthew 24:3-14 continued 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

  16. Matthew 24:3-14 continued 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

  17. Matthew 24:3-14 continued 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

  18. Matthew 24:3-14 continued 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel ofthe kingdom will be preached in all the worldas a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

  19. Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

  20. LIVING WITH A “HUMBLE THEOLOGY: In our church, we live with the tension of holding a “humble theology.” Holding a “humble theology” means we approach the Scriptures recognizing our inadequacies as human beings to determine with 100% certainty every single thing in the Bible.

  21. LIVING WITH A “HUMBLE THEOLOGY: Even though we live with a “humble theology”, it doesn’t mean that we cannot make certain theological conclusions. There are many Scriptural truths and doctrines that have been held throughout the 2,000 year history of the church, which we as Epic Church believe, are central the Christian faith.

  22. Do business till I come. Don’t get sidetracked. 21 Irrefutable Facts of the Second Coming.

  23. Jesus Himself will come again. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.

  24. Jesus Himself will receive us. John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

  25. We will meet Him in the air. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

  26. He will minister to those who are found watchful. Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

  29. He will return in flaming fire. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  36. 14. He will gather all nations and judge them. Matthew 25:32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.

  37. 15. He will reign on the earth. Jeremiah 23:5 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; a King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.

  38. 16. He will be given the kingdoms of this world. Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

  39. 17. He will be given dominion. Daniel 7:14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.

  44. 20. Every knee will bow. Philippians 2:9-11 continued 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
