Overview • Describes managed objects for modeling of Path Computation Element communication Protocol (PCEP) for communications between a Path Computation Client (PCC) and a Path Computation Element (PCE), or between two PCEs when point- to-multipoint services are requested. • MIB Draft contains • Objects related to P2MP • Objects common for both P2P and P2MP 79th IETF @ Beijing
Changes & Progress Changes from -00 draft : • Removed ‘path-key’ objects as these objects to be made as a new MIB module for path-key. As per section 6.2 of [RFC5520]. • Rearrangement of the sections for better understanding • Addition of STATUS (optional or mandatory) in the definitions • Addition of section 6.2 to gather all objects which may be moved to [PCE-PCEP-DRAFT-MIB] 79th IETF @ Beijing
Open Issues • Handle IANA considerations • Collaboration with authors of [PCE-PCEP-DRAFT-MIB] to review all MIB drafts together for interdependencies and interconnections. 79th IETF @ Beijing
Next Step • After this update, we request to make draft-zhao-pce-pcep-p2mp-mib-01 into a working group document as discussed and concluded in the last WG meeting. • Implement the MIB. Gather more customer inputs. 79th IETF @ Beijing
