What to wear to Leaving Ceremony Please notice this is a more formal and dressier occasion than exhibition AS DECIDED BY THE FIFTH GRADE TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATION
Overall Rules Knees must be covered Shoulders must be covered Clothing should be professional/Semi-Formal No sneakers, sweat suits or street shoes THERE WILL BE A PHOTOGRAPHER THERE TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR STUDENT
Boys Clothing Suggestions You should wear… -a dishdasha (Very clean and ironed) or -a suit or -a collared button down shirt with ironed dress pants and a belt **ties are HIGHLY encouraged (Mr. Murray will also be wearing a tie)***
Boys Clothing Rules No t-shirts No jeans, colored jeans, or any form of denim No polos No street shoes- running shoes, sandals, sport shoes No shorts No sweatpants or joggers
Girls Clothing Suggestions -Slacks or dressier pants - Dara’aa with shoulders covered -A blouse -A dress that covers the shoulders and knees. Dresses that do not cover shoulders must be accompanied by either a blazer, a nice cardigan, or a shawl. -A shorter dress with leggings or stockings that are not see through
Girl Clothing rules -No T-shirts -No jeans -No sweatpants or joggers -Leggings cannot be worn as pants -No street shoes- no sports shoes, no running shoes -Nothing that shows your shoulders or knees *** Friendly Suggestion- If you want to wear heels bring a pair of “back up” shoes.
