  2. ODMAP Level 2 The ODMAP Level 2 dashboard is a web-based application, which is designed to facilitate real-time surveillance of suspected overdoses. The dashboard allows Level 2 users the ability to display and filter locations of suspected overdoses entered by Level 1 users. The system can also be used to identify hot spots of suspected overdoses and spikes throughout the nation. ODMAP Level 2 dashboard is designed as a tool for decision makers to be able to view and analyze the data nationally. The data displayed is fictitious and for training purposes only

How to register for Level 2 • Agency administrators have the ability to create level 2 users for their agency in 4 easy steps! • Step 1: Click on Manage • Step 2: Click User Account • Step 3: Scroll to the bottom for Level 2 • Step 4: Enter in the new users name, email and phone number *Creating a new user may take 1 to 2 business days • Once they agency administrator has created a Level 2 user, an e-mail conformation will be sent to the new user

  6. Multiple filter options Legend The legend provides a description of the symbols. The diamonds represent fatal overdoses and the circles represent non-fatal overdoses. Each color corresponds to the naloxone administration. *Unknown overdoses denote automated submissions that did not have a valid overdose type Defaults to last 24 hours 5 graphs The data displayed is fictitious and for training purposes only Overdose Counts

  7. The basemap can be changed by selecting the Gallery button. Hovering your cursor on the tool will identify the feature ODMAP allows you to import data in three different ways. Please note any applied filters will not apply to added data. Search Data: Data available through ESRI’s ArcGIS Online open source data can be added to ODMAP. An ArcGIS Online login may be required. Users may register for a free account at https://www.arcgis. com/. You may search the ArcGIS online data and click add to import data to the map. URL: If you have data housed on an ArcGIS Online server you may enter the URL to import that data. FILE: KML, Shape, and CSV files may be uploaded to ODMAP. You may drop a file or browse to upload. KML and Shape files will import using their existing symbology. CSV files will use a default symbology that cannot be altered. CSV files must have columns labeled longitude and latitude to properly import.

Additional ODMAP Tools Zoom in Draw – select features to draw on your map Print Bookmark *User added bookmarks are stored as cookies and not saved to ODMAP, meaning they will only be saved on the computer they are created on and in that particular browser. Zoom out Home Previous extent Next extent Current Location *You must select “Allow Location Access” when your browser requests access to your location

Clicking on Entry Point Clicking a dot on the map will open up an information box If there are more than one overdose logged at one location, click on the point on the map and it will display all of the logged overdoses (ex. 1 of 3, 2 of 3, and 3 of 3). Using the triangle at the top right-hand side will allow the users to scroll to the other overdoses. 3 options available The data displayed is fictitious and for training purposes only

Filtering Options • ODMAP provides various • filters to assist in data analysis. • Data may be filter by: • States (can select multiples), • Counties (can select multiples) • Date range • Fatality • Naloxone administration • Zip code • Primary suspected drug (optional field in Level 1 – often left blank) • Submitting agency, • Police district (where available) • Multi victim incident • Day of the week (based on UTC, not local time) • Hour of the day) based on UTC not local time)

  11. Frequency Graphs Several frequency graphs are available at the bottom of the screen. The data in each graph corresponds to any applied filters. ODs By Type Displays the total overdoses for each category of naloxone administration and fatality designation. Suspected ODs Per Day Displays the total overdoses for each day. First and last day may be partial counts, because they may not include the entire day. The data displayed is fictitious and for training purposes only

First and last month may be partial counts because they may not include the entire month. Day of Week Displays the total overdoses for each day of the week. Please note the day of the week is based on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and not your local time zone. Hour of Day Displays the total number of overdoses for each hour of the day. Please note the hour is based on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and not your local time zone.

The data displayed is fictitious and for training purposes only Attribute Table Click button to open attribute table • Attribute table will display: • All entries will be displayed from filter • As you zoom to entry point, the attribute will reflect the area • You may select options menu to filter columns displayed • You may zoom to an entry point

Weekly Reports Weekly reports are intended to provide your agency a breakdown of data submitted to ODMAP Your agency can receive weekly reports for their county *Your agency can request weekly reports if they have been both actively and consistently entering data for 30 days.
