Collaborative project conducted by Vastseliina Boarding School in Estonia to compare daylight and temperature variations with latitude. The project analyzed data from various sources to draw conclusions about the relationship between latitude and daylight hours, as well as latitude and temperature. Additionally, the project offers a fun activity of watching Estonian winter birds through a webcam near a bird feeder.

Our Conclusions: • On the graph which depicts daylight hours correlation with latitude we can see that the longest daylight is on the smallest latitude and the shortest daylight is on the largest latitude. We can’t compare northern and southern hemispheres because from southern hemisphere we have data from only one school. • We can see that nearly on the same distance from equator on the northern hemisphere (28,4) and on the southern hemisphere (-31,4) are daylight hours equal. On the larger latitude the daylight lasts longer for five minutes.
Our Conclusions: • From the graph, which depicts how temperature depends on latitude, we can conclude that temperature depends not only on latitude. The highest temperature was measured between 30˚N-40˚N and the lowest temperature was measured on the highest latitude.
