Using the internet in the classroom has been known to “Rake” up a lot of interests!
According to the Journal of Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism: A study was conducted on how useful course websites are. The study was based on student’s perception of coursework online. “The findings of this study suggest that students make use of course websites, and they perceive that course websites enhance the learning experience.”

Because many parents are not up to date on Internet software, they should be given information on filters and other programs to make their home computers child friendly. In a technologically growing society, children cannot be shielded from using the Internet for research simply because they may stumble across something inappropriate. It is these inappropriate things they should be taught how to deal with in order to make Internet usage valuable.
THE MAIN REASON FOR CLOSE MONITORING IS…. • 1. Student safety, to be certain no personal information is given out on-line. • 2. Appropriate usage, to be sure students are not accessing inappropriate materials.
So, the internet is good for… • Lesson Planning • Student Activities • Classroom Trips • Parental Involvement • Monitoring Information
