What is an IV Room? Is a room where the concentration of air particles is controlled to meet a specific air cleanliness class.
ISO Class Particles that are 0.5 μm or bigger per square feet (ft3)
Personal Protective Equipment Combination of all the garb that we put on as we are doing the Aseptic Technique

Laminar Airflow Hood • Is used to prepare Sterile Solutions • Has a HEPA Filter to keep sterility
HEPA Filter • Filters 99.97 % of particles 0.3 μm or greater
Microorganism sizes • Bacteria 0.3 μm • Fungi 0.5 μm • Virus 0.1 to 0.2 μm
Caution When using a Laminar Airflow Hood do not block the airflow
