Some glad morning When this life is o’er I’ll fly away To a home On God’s celestial shore I’ll fly away
I’ll fly away, oh glory I’ll fly away When I die Hallelujah, by and by I’ll fly away
When the shadows Of this life have gone I’ll fly away Like a bird From prison bars has flown
I’ll fly away, oh glory I’ll fly away When I die Hallelujah, by and by I’ll fly away
Just a few more Weary days and then I’ll fly away To a land where joys Shall never end
I’ll fly away, oh glory I’ll fly away When I die Hallelujah, by and by I’ll fly away
Shall we gather at the river, Where bright angel feet have Trod, With its crystal tide forever Flowing by the throne of God?
Yes, we'll gather at the river The beautiful, the beautiful river Gather with the saints At the river That flows by the throne of God
Soon we'll reach the shining river Soon our pilgrimage will cease Soon our happy hearts will quiver with the melody of peace.
Yes, we'll gather at the river The beautiful, the beautiful river Gather with the saints at the river That flows by the throne of God
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus Sing his mercy and his grace In the mansions Bright and blessed He'll prepare for us a place.
When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing That will be! When we all see Jesus, We'll sing and shout the victory!
While we walk the pilgrim pathway Clouds will overspread the sky But when traveling days are over Not a shadow, not a sigh
When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We'll sing and shout the victory
Let us then be true and faithful Trusting, serving every day Just one glimpse of him in glory Will the toils of life repay.
When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We'll sing and shout the victory
Onward to the prize before us Soon his beauty we'll behold Soon the pearly gates will open We shall tread the streets of gold
When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We'll sing and shout the victory
1 Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them saying: 3"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Take time to be holy Speak oft with thy Lord Abide in him always And feed on his word Make friends of God's children Help those who are weak Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek
Take time to be holy The world rushes on Spend much time in secret With Jesus alone By looking to Jesus Like him thou shalt be Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see
Take time to be holy Let him be thy guide And run not before him Whatever betide In joy or in sorrow Still follow the Lord And, looking to Jesus Still trust in his word
Take time to be holy Be calm in thy soul Each thought and each motive Beneath his control Thus led by his spirit To fountains of love Thou soon shalt be fitted For service above.
