Dahab Diving, with kids?

1. Dahab Diving, with kids? I have been diving for as long as I remember. That is also how I found the second love of my life, my wife. ( First love is scuba diving, of course). But when we got married, and we got a son it was not so easy to get away for the weekend to go diving. When our son turned 10 we went diving all three together since PADI has courses for kids! The next year he did his theory in Sweden and the diving in warm water. When he passed his exam and became a certified JR- diver, we had already booked a trip to a Dive resort in Dahab. We had found a great Budget hotel in Dahab with its own PADI divecenter called Red Sea Relax Resort and now we where planning to do some Dahab diving! We had our own private Divemaster only for us and we all enjoyed diving together. What a great way to spend our holidays, together in the big blue! The best with Dahab diving for beginners is that most divesites can be reached from land so no need to be on a boat that might add additional stress. Some divesites you simply walk to, other ones you reach after a short trip with car. But after the dive you will soon be back at your Diveresort in Dahab. When our son came up after the dive and said: "WOW! The DM is really a nice guy, he even showed me something that looked like a seahorse!" Well, then you know that you have choosen the right PADI divecenter in Dahab, and that your kid will have a great memory for ever from his first dive in tropical water. So if you are a beginner or looking forward to learn to dive in Dahab, you will have a great time here! When we booked the Budget hotel in Dahab the only request our son had was: they must have pancakes for breakfast! Lucky us, they did have pancakes on the breakfast buffé that was included in the price. Our Dahab hotel also had a nice pool where we all hang out after the dives. We are already planning to go back to the same Diveresort in Dahab next year to do some more Dahab diving and add some excursions as well since Dahab has more things to offer, not only diving. Red Sea Relax Resort also helps out with booking excursions, so we will choose the same great Budget hotel in Dahab next year for sure. And who knows, when our son gets a little bit older we might even join a Red Sea Liveaboard! So if you are aksing yourself the question Diving Dahab with kids? The answer is a big YES!
