  10. Community Service Projects There were 3 Major Projects Identified: Ronald McDonald Sand Point Transitional Housing University Food Bank (Not necessarily in order) Consider $$ Sponsor Electronics Recycling event

Ronald McDonald House • Continue with every other month dinners • Need more help earlier in the day • Continue with Team food drives “fine tune” • Consider the following: • Joint dinners with Rotaract entertainment nights • Holiday Family Support • Presents • Mothers’ Night • Temporary Housing • Set $ Limits • Emergency Clothing • Van Drivers

  12. Sand Point Transitional Housing • Continue with Spring Picnic • Support Moving Fund (District Matching Grants) • Consider: • Holiday Party • Gifts for the Kids • Santa Clause • Temporary Ronald McDonald Housing

  13. University Food Bank • Continue with Food Drives • Scrap the Holiday Family support • Very poor results last year • Consider • Holiday events • More Money!

  14. Vocational Service • Rotaract - Keith • Support fund raiser • Interact – Chuck • Help from Dave, Keith, Steve • Roosevelt HS • Sponsorship from Rotaract? • Need strong advisor @ Roosevelt • Expand into RYLA

International Service • Agreed that Literacy & Water are priorities • Disaster Relief – As required • Clubs support of Int’l Projects • Exchange Students • Ambassadorial Scholars • Required club Support: • Qualify for Matching Grants • Locate Rotary Clubs in Receiving Area • Need ongoing (annual) connection
