  1. LS Journal #3: Choose ONE of the following & write at least ½ page • Recall a time when you came in contact with a culture totally different from your own. How did you feel and behave? If it’s never happened, explain why you would or would not like to live in a different culture for a while. • Recall (or imagine) a confused, chaotic, dangerous situation you were (might be) in. (Scene of an accident? Live rock concert? Earthquake? Fire?) How did (would) you feel and behave? • The Narrator comments on the problems resulting from people being suddenly cut off from water, phones, and electricity in the city. Describe the problems you would encounter in the course of a week without water, phones, and electricity.
