Culture • Language - over 1100 languages in the region - English is the most common • Religion - multiple religions - Christianity common - traditional native religions • Arts and Crafts - baskets and woven items
Traditional Life • Polynesia - history of village wars - wooden homes, heavier construction • Micronesia - family groups - peaceful • Melanesians - coastal dwellers
