Erik’sVisit. When Erik Eriksson Came to Crossdale By Katie and James.
Introduction Introduction: On Thursday 4th December Base Two had a visitor called Erik Eriksson - a Viking!
Some Information. First thing in the morning I got up to get dressed in my Viking outfit. After that I got my breakfast ready then I ate it. I watched some TV for half a hour, then my Mum and Dad dropped me of at school. When Mr McKenna came outside we saw him wearing a red tunic - not a dress!
Arriving at school. Some information. When we got to school we play fought with the other children. Then, when it was time to go in, Mr McKenna came out in a red coloured tunic. After Mr McKenna had talked to the whole class outside, we went inside the school. We put our coats on our pegs, our book bags in the boxes and the lunch boxes on the trolley.
Going into the hall. We lined up at the book shelf .Then sat on the carpet. In the hall we all met a Viking visitor and his name was Erik Eriksson.
What we felt. We felt a: • Sheep fur • Wolf fur • Goat fur • Leather from a cow • Baby badger. • Fox's fur • And some antlers from a dear.
Some metal brooches Drinking horns Shields Swords Wooden spoons Battle axes Knives Metal armour A trading statue Big cauldron Viking Objects On the stage the man called Erik Eriksson and he put some things on the stage that the Vikings used to use. There were:
What we learned. • We learned that the ladies were not allowed to speak unless a man said they could. • If the ladies wore short sleeves and if they don’t wear dresses to their ankles they will be stoned. • There were five gods.
What we did in the afternoon. • In the afternoon we came in from lunch and carried on with our pictures. There were two different sheets some people did one first but, the other people did the harder one.
About the story. • Erik Eriksson told us a story about a nasty frost giant. • Erik chose some people to come up to the front. Edward was a giant and in the end he died.
What Erik showed us. Erik Eriksson showed us how to make a coin. This Is How He Made It. 1.First you get a log and a hammer. 2.Then you get a metal tube 3.After that you need a little shiny circle 4.Place it in the tube 5.Next get the hammer and hammer it down. 6.Then hopefully there will be a pattern on it.
