Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. OR A WORKING WITNESS IN THE WORLD OR ONE WITH GOD IS A MULTITUDE/MAJORITY. • Giving Our All for God vs. Earning a Living? Is the above a Picture in Contrast? Does a Christian live in Water-tight Compartments? Is a Missionary a “Full-time-worker” and others “Part-time Workers?” Consider: • The Great Commission to the Church. Mt. 28:19, 20 • The Grand Command to the Christian. Acts 1:8

  2. (2) A Working Witness in the World Wherever we are, our responsibility is to: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Mt. 5:16 • So Whoever and Wherever you are in your Working life, you are to Witness for Him. • Cf. Take Your Soul to Work by Paul Stevens & Alvin Ung.

Nine Soul-Sapping Struggles in the Workplace: Introducing the Deadly Work Sins • Pride – Grasping Equality with God. • Greed – The Desire for More. • Lust – The Erotic Workplace. • Gluttony – Excessive Consumption of Food. • Anger – The Burning Desire to Control. • Sloth – Pathological Slothfulness. • Envy – The Pain of Another’s Advancement. • Restlessness – The Desire to Run Away. • Boredom – Slow Death in the Workplace. • Cf.   4. (3) One with God is a Majority/Multitude. • Elijah was one prophet Surrounded by Syrian Armies and his Servant was Fearful. The Servant Failed to See the Hosts of Angels with them. II Kgs. 6:15-17 • Joseph was oneSlave of Potiphar but he became Pharaoh’s Prime Minister to Save Egypt from famine. • Nehemiah was oneCupbearer (Neh. 1:11) of the King, but He reConstructed the walls of Jerusalem (Neh. 1:4, 5,ff) • Daniel was one young man with a Purpose (Dan. 1:8), but he became God’s Prophet to the People and triumphed over all Problems Placed in his Path.

  5. ONE WITH GOD IS A MULTITUDE.ALL OF THEM HAD… • A Vocation – A Calling from God. • A Vision – A Challenge in front. • A Passion – Catching others with the same. • A Mission – Onward with the Charge!
