Good Aspects of COP 4710 So Far • Good, Interesting and Easy-to-understand Explanation (16) • Well-prepared Course Materials/Slides (12) • Well-designed Course Project (7) • Review Session Before the Class is Helpful (5) • Good Examples (3) • Good pace and laid-back atmosphere (3) • Course is well-organized and timely updated (3) • Excellent teaching skills and always answer questions timely (2) • Good textbook • I think I am actually starting to like this course! • Excellent course, excellent instructor!

Bad Aspects of COP 4710 So Far • The textbook is bad (4) • Not enough (Concrete) Examples (4) • Not enough SQL practice and code training (4) • Early Class (3)  • Not enough interaction (2) • Not enough discussions and questions in the class (2) • The pace is too slow (2) • Slides are bare and dry • The pace is fast, can be slower • No lab sessions

Comments & Suggestions • More Coding Examples, SQLs (5) • Providing More Non-graded Practice Problems (5) • More real world examples (4) • More online resources (4) • More interactions with students (3) • Release the homework earlier (2) • More use of the whiteboard • Slides can be a little bit easier • Sample data sets provided/recommended • When people come in late, could ask them not to slam the door, but hold it until it is closed
