Artist's residence in hospital consists in inviting a creator to realize, in front of and with the patients, a work of art. It offers young patients suffering from physical or psychological pathologies, the opportunity to meet with an artist, to learn his techniques and to participate in the realization of a work of art. The workshop in residence improves the everyday life in hospital, it offers an alternative to the passivity of care and therefore give the hospital a human dimension.
