2. Setting • In a town Kansas it was dry there was also a kid called jack he was beaten by three kids that pick on him also there is some thing in the barn.

4. The conflict there is no rain.MAN VS NATURE • Theproblem is that there is no rain in the he main town there in ,also the town always has dust and never dose the rain fall!

5. Summary of Plot • These are events that happen in order in the story , the first thing that they come face to face from is a shadow of the rain that they are about to run over . they get off and they realize it’s not there any more . After the kid jack comes face to face with the rain and they get in to a little rumble .

6. Theme • ‘There is no rain in this town” • Text Evidence 1: this town is covered in dust there is no rain. • Text Evidence 2: rain is beautiful but it no longer falls. • Text Evidence 3: jack your to small to remember the rain.

7. Point of View • It’s third person limited because some thing is looking down on it and reading it . If they were not there it would be kind of hard to under stand it.

8. Symbolism • The dust is the sign of no rain because every year it comes back it never ever rain at all.

9. Recommendation • I would recommend this book because it’s interesting and will hook you in seconds, even the first part is exiting . But at the end is were the most exiting part is you will be surprised.
