Book p.14 We love to go to the beach And play on the sand by the sea. We love to throw the beach ball And eat yummy sandwiches for the tea. We love to splash in the waves And snorkel around stony rocks. We love to watch crabs in pools And get seaweed over our socks! We love to make sandcastles, And dig holes and bury our dad. We so love to be by the sea, That leaving it makes us sad.

The sand was wet and cool. Grandma smiled. She kicked off her shoes, ran over the sand and into the sea. “Kate,” she called, “come and join me.
