  9. Tin Man Represented the industrial workers of the Northeast

  10. Cowardly Lion Represents William Jennings Bryan, who ran for President 6 times and got lesser men than himself elected but never became President himself.

  11. Wicked Witch of the West Represented Nature

  12. Water Killed the Wicked Witch of the West Represented what was needed to tame the west.

  13. Flying Monkeys Represented the Indian tribes of the Great Plains

  14. Emerald City Represented Washington, DC

  15. The Wizard Represented all the Presidents of the United States, from Washington to McKinley
