  3. Can’t Hear or Be Heard? Telephone Audio Option • If you’re having trouble hearing or being heard: • Click on the telephone icon. • A phone number and PIN number will pop up. • You can use this if VOIP is not working, but please use it only as a backup.

  4. Answering Questions: Yes/No Using the Yes/No Indicators aindicates a positive or "yes" response xindicates a negative or "no" response

  5. Communicating: Hand Raise Using the Hand Raise Indicators The palm is the “raised hand” in a classroom; use this to get the presenter’s attention to ask a question, make a comment, etc…

  6. Communicating: Emoticons Selecting an Emoticon to Express Feelings - Close Menu - Away - Approve - Disapprove - Surprised - Confused - Applause - Laughing - Speaker speed up - Speaker slow down

  7. Communicating: Text Chat This is the area where you can text questions to the presenter or another participant • 3 chat features: • Public Chat • Private Chat • Pause/ Play Chat

  8. Communicating: Talk Key When using the talk button, identify yourself first. Continue to hold down the talk button for 2 seconds after you finish speaking. To Speak: Click and hold the TALK button or Press and hold CTRL key on keyboard
