IVDGL – GLUE GIIS BASIC STRUCTURE • GIISes include Worldgrid, glue, iVDGL, datatag • All GIISes register into Worldgrid GIIS • Top level glue GIIS accepts registrations from iVDGL and datatag resources • iVDGL, worldgrid, glue host: giis.ivdgl.org port: 8425
iVDGL – Structure • iVDGL GIIS structure will basically be broken down into top level experiment GIISes • Subsets of the resources registered to the top level experiment GIISes will be designated testbed resources and will register into the top level glue GIIS • We expect datatag to organize the same at some point
GLUE – Test Harness • The Glue testbed test harness is now included with the VDT pacman package. • Users installing the worldgrid Pacman cache will automatically obtain it. You can directly download the perl script from Nosa Olomu’s webpage • Basic functionality is to assert that the Glue Schemas are followed correctly • The test harness has recently shown that a few kinks in the glue information providers will have to be worked out to satisfy the glue schema layout • Testing of basic Globus commands
Testing Harness • Testing basic authentication • Testing basic job submission • Run an executable remotely • Stage an executable in and run it • Submit a job for later retrieval • Get the output of our previously submitted job • Clean up our previously submitted job • Get stderr output of our job • Testing GridFTP • Tests were run against grid001.mi.infn.it
Documentation • iGOC pages are being updated to reflect the documentation done by Nosa Olomu (www.isi.edu/~olomu/ivdgl/ivdgl-instructions.html) • More documentation put up by Scott Koranda and Nosa Olomu available at (http://www.lsc-group.phys.uwm.edu/ivdgl/RA/), this site is still a work in progress as of 10/7/2002
