  7. There are three types of verbs in Spanish. -ER -AR • -AR verbs are verbs that end in –ar. Hablar,caminar, bailar, nadar, viajar. • -ER verbs end in –er. comer, beber. • -IR verbs end in –ir. Vivir, morir. Types of verbs -IR Verbs ending in –ar, -er, and –ir in Spanish are known as infinitives.

  8. Let’s get started…Conjugating regular –ER verbs. • To conjugate a regular –ER verb, one must first remove the –ER ending from the infinitive. This will leave you with the base. Use the infinitive, COMER COMER – ER = COM COMis your base
