  2. Some children ride the bus to school.

  3. The bus can be crowded. The bus can be noisy. The bus can be smelly.

  4. The bus ride can be bumpy and many sights can pass by the bus window quickly. Sometimes the bus ride can make you feel yucky or sick.

  5. I can get my body ready for the bus ride.

  6. I can push hard against the wall and squeeze myself with my arms while I am waiting for the bus

  7. I can help my body feel calm and relaxed.

  8. When I ride the bus I can sit by myself and put my heavy backpack in my lap.

  9. If the bus is too noisy, I can wear headphones.

  10. If the bus ride is too bumpy or makes me feel yucky, I can wear sunglasses.

  11. I can relax by squeezing my body and counting to ten while I am riding on the bus.

  12. I can push down on my seat and give myself hugs with my arms while I am riding on the school bus.

  13. I can relax while riding the bus. When I arrive at my school I will feel happy to begin my school day.
