  4. Repoussé • Is the French word meaning “to push”. • It is the technique of decorating the surface of metal by using tools to raise or indent it (tooling and chasing). • Around this mirror is a repousséd frame. Indian Brass Mandala

  6. The art of Repoussé is a ancient form of art. Mycenaean Repoussé of Agamemnon’s Funeral Mask and one of his gold cups. Both are over 3000 years old!
