  1. Paige Pendery Counselor I am thrilled to be serving as your Counselor at NHE for my 3rd year! I look forward to working with all of our teachers and students throughout the year and getting to know each of you. Thank you for the opportunity to work with all of your children! I have been teaching at NHE since the Spring of 2003. After student teaching in 3rd grade at NHE for a semester, I graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station in December 2002 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, grades Pre-K-6. I have enjoyed being able to teach both 3rd and 6th grades as well as serving as the Instructional Specialist since I began my time here. After teaching for a few years, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in Counseling through Texas A&M University-Commerce and was excited to begin my new career as a school counselor at NHE. In addition to being dedicated to your children and my NHE family, I also value my own family. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jeremy, for five years. We are excited about becoming first-time parents to a sweet baby boy in late September! I will be on maternity leave after he arrives, but look forward to being back in the spring with our students!
