School and System Responsibilities • By April 1 of each year, forms and counseling guidelines should be made available by the Department of Education to 10th and 11th grade students, and their parents or guardians before the students enroll in the program. • Advisement will be conducted by the school counselor ie. eligible institutions, high school graduation requirements, approved courses, etc. • Parent/guardian must sign a Participation Permission Form
Considerations • Although the state has set minimum requirements for SAT, GPA, and freshmen index requirements, eligible institutions will have their own admission requirements and potentially retention requirements.
