Strategies Needed • Guest Researcher Agreement with University, not individuals • Articulate goals • Incorporate other institution’s goals in your thinking and actions • Strengthen internal communications • “Advance” meetings with faculty & lab scientists • Develop mechanisms to find out where collaborations are • Get list of prior inventions from new hires and work them
