  10. ACT—District Highlights • All 11th Grade Students (3,420) • Predictor of success in college • Composite Score = (English + Reading + Math + Science Reasoning)/4 • Used for CDE School Accountability Reports

  11. ACT—District Highlights • Composite score improved by .5!!! (20.9 to 21.4) • Improved in 4 of 5 reported scores • Significant improvement in Math, Reading and Science Reasoning

  12. ACT—School Highlights • All DCSD high schools improved their composite scores! • DC Oakes had impressive improvement • 16.7 to 18.3 (1.6 increase)

ACT—District Highlights • Unprecedented growth on subject area tests! • English…Chaparral, DC Oakes, Mountain Vista, and ThunderRidge had gains of 1.0 or greater • Reading…Chaparral, DC Oakes, and Ponderosa had gains of .7 or greater • Math…Douglas County, Highlands Ranch, Rock Canyon and ThunderRidge had gains of 1.0 or greater
