  4. Service Performance and Uptime Did you say “probe?” The end user view is the most important. MVP: Global synthetic probe of the end service– “Is it up?”

  5. Software Component Metrics What you can page people on. MVP: Local probes, “nagios style.”Uptime via ports and processes, but dynamic. I’m pretty sure you said “probe.”

  6. System Metrics Diagnose issues quickly. MVP: System metrics, “Zabbix style”– but you need usage and system size in context.

  7. Application Metrics Business value and troubleshooting specifics. MVP: Log them and crunch the logs.
