Suggestions for getting the most out of the conference • Go to the sessions and participate • Each session will have a long facilitated audience interaction portion. • Talk to the exhibitors • Wherever you see them – booths, tables, hallways • Network with your peers • We’ve created more networking time than last year. • Use the tables in the break area that have been setup with “conversation starter topics”. • Gather at the topic of your choice. • One table was left blank; make up your own topic. • See Dave Kirby, Doc Muhlbaier • with suggestions/concerns/enthusiasms about the conference • Enjoy! • ‘nuf said

  9. Conference Materials • Conference materials will be on the conference website after the conference- We’ll send you an email (if you gave us an email address)

  10. Housekeeping • The track co-leaders will facilitate each session. See them if there is an acute problem with a session. • Do your session evals • We actually read them! • Cell phones and beepers – on stun;

  11. Housing • If your return travel plans are disrupted by effects from Rita and you would like another housing option than the hotel- • The UNC School of Public Health can connect you with a housing program for university faculty and students displaced by Rita. • See Dave Kirby. 919-272-1157

Errata • The Speakers for the Future Track on September 26, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. are Carole Klove of Standard Medical Center, Jeanne Smythe of the University of Chapel Hill, and Mike Hubbard of Smith Anderson. • Jon Carroll is on the Emailing ePHI panel. He is not on the “Changing Corporate Culture…” panel.
