  3. Definition of strategy The state's ability to acquire the comprehensive strategic power and to prepare the situations necessary for achieving and securing strategic national interests

Definition of strategy • It is also possible to merge the two definitions to arrive at a third one which is: • The state's ability to acquire the comprehensive strategic power that enables the state to shape the future according to National will and to prepare the situations necessary for that.

  5. Strategy & power • From these definitions, it is easy to notice the importance for strategy to acquire power. • It is the necessary power needed to manage the strategic conflict

  6. National Strategic Planning All coordinated and integrated presentations, means and ideas which are capable of determining and achieving National Interests and of achieving competitive advantages and capacities from the international perspective of the state…….

  9. The Difference between Planning and Strategic Planning The difference between planning in its ordinary sense and between strategic planning could be explained as follows:

The Difference between Planning and Strategic Planning the strategic planning should include the arrangements to actualizing human security. protecting the environment, utilizing and developing resources. preserving the rights and interests of the coming generations. contributing to fulfillment of international security.

  11. The Difference between Planning and Strategic Planning Planning in its ordinary sense seeks to forecast the future. This is a job that always depends on study and analysis of past and present data.

  12. The Difference between Planning and Strategic Planning Strategic planning, on the other hand does not actually seekto foretell the future but rather seeks to shape up the future .

  22. National Interests The Needs, Conditions and Ambitions agreed upon at the National level that the State wishes to actualize and preserve.

  23. National Interests They include the vital, moral and material aspects such as preservation of nation creed, national culture, prestige, permanence, sovereignty and security of the state as well as safeguarding the security of citizens and the community.

  24. National Interests Realizing political, economic and social development. They also include religious principles and values, strategic bases.

The Strategic Struggle It is the conditions that take shape via the strategies through which Countries seek to realize part of their National Interests at the international stage and that conflict at varying degrees with the National Interests of other countries. Countries need to possess comprehensive strategic power to be able to run this struggle.
