IMPORTANT Ordersby KERC/GOK 10/10/13 - Tariff orders for SRTPV plants. 22/05/14– GOK Solar policy 14-18. 07/11/14 –Launch of SRTPV scheme in the State. 30/7/15 - Revised Tariff for MW scale solar project 2/05/16 – Revision of tariff and other norms. 19/09/16 –One time Irrevocable policy of Gross/Net Metering. 15/12/16 – SRTPV Plants Regulations -2016. 15/09/17– Multiple SRTPV installations in a single premises.

  7. KERC Regulation -2016Dated 15/12/16. Allow Gross/Net Metering Arrangement. All consumers permitted to install SRTPV from 1Kw to 1Mw. Cap to be decided by commission from time to time. Cum. Cap. of SRTPV – shall not exceed Total Cap. of state. Time Limitation – 180 days for commission of Plant. < 50 Kwp. - Connect to existing DTC, limited to 80% of cap. >50 Kwp.– Connect to existing 11Kv. Network, limited to 80% of rated current cap. of conductor. Adhere to technical standards and safety. Metering System – As per CEA Guidelines.

  13. FORMATION OF TECHNICAL & PROCESS COMMITTEE EMINENT EXPERTS DRAWN FROM USAID, CPRI, GERMI, UL, TO SIMPLIFY THE PROCESS AND TO MAKE HURDLE FREE GATEWAY

Major decision taken in the committee are: • Inspectorate approval exempted for SRTPV installation less than 10kW • Empowered AE to Commission SRTPV installations less than 5 KWp. • For HT installations interconnection point permitted at LT Bus Bar. • Reduction in technical loss and saving to consumer as cost of step-up DTC and infrastructure is avoided. • Penetration limit of SRTPV up to 80% of the Distribution Transformer capacity.

SURYA RAITHA SOLAR PUMP - PILOT PROJECT : • Introduced on 24.9.2014 for welfare of farmers. • To harness energy from solar to run IP sets and feed in excess energy to grid. • Assured quality power supply to farmers during day time. • Assured additional income to farmers. • Improvement in water table. • Reduction in peak load, losses and energy consumption. • Execution of TPA between BESCOM, SRTPV consumer and investor / developer.
